As many of you know the release of the Xbox one and the Play Station 4 are soon to be expected! With all the hype of both system who will win this console war.
So what are the specs of each system
XBOX One Cost - $499.99 Play Station 4 Cost - $399.99
-Blu-Ray/dvd drive - Blu-Ray/dvd drive
-8GB DDR3 - 8GB DDR5
-8 Core Custom CPU - 8 Core singlechip x86 CPU

While both system are close to having the same specs, Witch system is truly better?
In my personal preferences for a better gaming experience I would have to choose the play station 4 Because it clearly has more features While also a better overall gaming experience due to its better specs.
But who has the better game play?
The Exclusive releases for both system are great But, I would have to give it up to Xbox one! The Xbox one has many Great games soon to come out like Halo, Gears of War, Dead rising. All rated in top 90's by IGN and other gaming forums While the PlayStation offers Uncharted, Killzone, and God of War (rated higher 80 to low 90's by ign) and with that I would have to give the game play to the Xbox One!
So What gaming console will you pick?

America's Trends: Ooh Kill Em
“Ooh Kill Em” is the new saying and
dance craze. There always seems to be something that we think is cool and
become obsessive with. Why do people do this? Sometimes it’s because of the people
behind the dance, and other times it’s just becomes a universal trend. This
time it happens to be because of a specific person. A 6 year old cousin of
Maleek Taylor.
Maleek
Taylor is a star basketball player in the state of Georgia, and he had a lot of
followers on his vine account. It all started when he started to take vines (6
second videos) of his little cousin named Terio. Most people think having a
younger kid do something makes it funnier. In this case that it what happened.
Terio is known for his saying “Kill Em” and that dance he does with it.
This dance
and saying isn’t limited just to people who follow or have a vine. It’s
possible to have seen it if you don’t even know what it is. If you’re a sports
fan I’m sure you’ve seen it at least once. For example last Sunday Tavon Austin
of the St. Louis Rams scored three touchdowns, and on one of them he celebrated
in the end zone just how cousin Terio would. Justin Tucker, kicker of the
Baltimore Ravens hit a game winning field goal against the Cincinnati Bengals,
and used the same celebration. The last one I want to say was in the preseason
game of the Chicago Bulls. Derrick Rose of the Bulls made an off balance
acrobatic looking layup, and after making it the announcer said “Derrick Ooh
Kill Em.”
So how does
something like this become so popular? America very easily grabs a new trend,
and makes it something that many people do or talk about. The only question is
what the next trend is going to be.
Terio Killin Em
How Does Alcohol Affect The Brain?

| The effects of alcohol on neurotransmitters |
The longer you live in this abuse the more your body will need alcohol, you build up a tolerance, meaning you need more and more to get the same good feeling. When the time comes that you think you have had enough, and you try to stop abusing the alcohol. Consequently, you may go into a withdrawal, going into a depression and becoming sick because your brain has changed its chemical makeup and can’t function properly without the alcohol. A chronic or long term alcohol use can lead to adaptive change in the brain cells, this is a process where your brain is trying to re-create normal cell functions, if the alcohol has been inhibiting the cells the brain may try to compensate for this by increasing the number of receptors or by changing the molecular structure of the cells so that the alcohol can longer inhibit the receptors. As you can see from the above information. Alcohol can be a very dangerous drug to your brain and have devastating results to your life and relations ships when abused and not used responsible. It is ironic that something you think makes you happy is actually a depressant that can change the way your brain functions forever. This is something I never thought about before writing this article, now that I understand how and why alcohol can affect my life I will be more cognizant of alcohol.
Social class takes a BITE!!!
What does your circle of friends say about you?? Maybe you
hang out with the Home-boyz and thug-out an afternoon, maybe you get your
pom-poms tangled up in gossip during cheer-leading practice, or you may even be
in the fortunate circle of parenthood. Whichever friends we associate ourselves
with, it’s our way of letting not only the world but ourselves know who we are
and what we stand for. But of course nothing else is more prone to change than
who we are, what we stand for, and our social class. When this happens we may
break up with our friend(s). So what
happens when one runs into a conflict of social interest with “our” best friend??
No, not your best friend but our best
friend, man’s best friend!
Unlike your human friends, your furry pal
cannot chose to leave you because of your political or personal outlook on life
and they did not chose to be part of your pack because of your social class; despite
the fact they don’t have the will to choose an owner. Dogs play a crucial part
in our American society. They are not only loyal companions and hold many critical
duties among us in our professional lives, but very often and unseemly they
are a social statement we make. Just
like cars we very much want our dogs to reflect who we are or more likely who
we want to be. A very typical case would be the Pit-Bull Terrier, valued for
the variety of beautiful coats available with the breed, the absolute beauty
and dominance of its muscular frame, and for its widest known fact its jaw strength. This would be the “bigger stick syndrome”
having a bigger and tougher dog would in turn mean a bigger and tougher human, which
is completely false and absurd. You can easily see how a non-forward thinking
person would be intrigued and impulsively purchase a pit-bull.
More over sometimes it’s not about
the physical feats that a dog may offer but the proposition of class that is so
luring for people. A perfect example for this is the Akita; One of the oldest,
if not the oldest, breed of dogs and also considered the “purest” of all breeds.
The Akita is the epitome of traditional Japanese culture. With origins stretching back centuries to medieval/samurai
times, the Akita was once allowed to be owned by only the most elite of
Japanese class. The Akita reminds so
much of the samurai sword. They both propose class distinction and sophistication
for the owner.
The issue here is not that we are
so occupied with ourselves and class that everything, even our dogs must, resemble
our identity nor is the issue about our insecurities and our insatiable need to
fix them. The underlying fault here is that people are bringing these dogs into
their lives with little to no knowledge of how to properly care and tend to the
breed’s specific needs. For dogs such as the Pit-bull and Akita, training and
health care are so critical for the animal’s wellbeing as well as the wellbeing
of its surrounding community.
These two robust breeds possess so much power
physically and psychologically, that when we place our interests before theirs,
these breeds can be very dangerous especially without proper training and
structure. To put in perspective a grim reality, dogs will always be loyal and
love us for whatever social class we are but it is us who abandon them when we come
to realize our responsibility for them fall outside our social interest and we lose
control and their trust, this is when society truly takes a bite.

Does Birth Order Really Make a Difference?
Have you ever wondered why your siblings can be
so different from you? Maybe you are the oldest, and it feels good sometimes to
let your younger siblings know whose boss!
Or you’re the youngest, and you like to lighten the day with a few jokes
every once in a while? You might even be, sadly, the unlucky one (like me) and
be stuck in he middle. Where you are
born in your family I believe can play a large part in your life, and can
definitely shape your personality.
Alfred Adler was a 20th
century psychotherapist, who is credited as one of the first to initiate the
belief that birth order position can truly play a role in developing an
individual’s personality. While Adler
merely surfaced this comprehensive topic, it has substantially been examined
the past century to the point where there are general traits associated with
one’s birth order.
Take a look below and see if some of the characteristics
below match you. However, please keep in mind these are general assumptions and
some exceptions do apply. Some key
examples are when a second-born child is required to act in place of the oldest
child due to uncontrollably circumstances, when there are age gaps over five
years between siblings, and when the first and second born are opposite
genders. The latter tends to lead both
individuals to exhibit the oldest child mentality.
Oldest Child/Only Child:
-The oldest/only child by
default leads the pack, and thus has a natural managing/leadership mentality. They
are usually competitive and many times are idolized by their younger
siblings. They can be described as
directive, goal-orientated, responsible, structured, and conscientious.
-Stuck in the middle,
usually they must search for their identity but are quite successful when they
find their passion. They have a large
range of personalities, and are likely the most social. They can be described as great peacemakers,
negotiators, competitive and usually have a large social circle.
Youngest:
-The youngest child may have
been pampered and had less responsibilities growing up, but studies show often
they can be the most successful. In most
cases they are flamboyant and great comedians.
They can be described as fun loving, creative, out-going and uncomplicated.
Try to see if you can
identify where your friends fit above.
More than likely you will be able to identify them by their birth order.

more about birth order.
Every Day, I Kiss My Kids Goodbye Like I’ll Never See Them Again

“What is it, honey?” I asked, my heart beating faster. “What’s wrong?”
He whispered, “Larry died.”
Larry is one of my husband’s best friends from childhood, a big-hearted guy with twin two-year-old boys. He’d been in a car accident. I burst into sobs, putting a napkin over my mouth so the people sitting nearby wouldn’t hear. We quickly paid the bill, went home, said good night to the babysitter. I tip-toed into my kids’ rooms, and planted long kisses on their foreheads. I thought about what would happen if I were never to see them again. But then, I think about that all the time.
I am not a morbid person. People tend to describe me as cheerful and upbeat; a friend in high school once joked I should be voted Most Likely To Smile. Like many of us, I used to never really appreciate the good in life until some tragedy gave me perspective. But I’ve lived long enough now and seen enough death to know that every day is a gift. It’s the sort of earnest banality you might see emblazoned in needlepoint at an elderly relative’s house, but it’s so true. Thing is, it’s not something most of us take time to think about…unless something awful happens.
My morning kiss routine started when my friend Karen passed away four years ago. She was a mom of three kids under five. Karen had an autoimmune disease; she’d wanted those babies so badly, and got them through surrogacy. One day, while her family was in a park, Karen keeled over. Her heart had gone out. It was the first time a close friend had passed, and hugging my children was one of the only things that got me through the grief. It was also the first time I started thinking about not taking life for granted.
Pondering the thought of no longer being there for your children is both hard and awful. Heck, some days it’s hard to even find time to think, let alone juggle a job, the kids, school stuff, house stuff, yada yada. It’s all too easy to get so sucked into your busy life that you never fully appreciate life itself, or how damn luckyyou are to have two beautiful children.
After Karen’s death, I vowed to be more mindful when I kissed the kids goodbye before I headed to work—on a train, into New York City, where there would be daily terror alerts, typically yellow (elevated) but occasionally orange (high), a system that’s since been discontinued. I didn’t think, “I may never see them again,” which would have been a pretty downer way to start the day. I just kissed them with all of me. No quick pecks: Instead, I’d relish the feel of their cheeks against my lips, the smell of their skin. I’d tell them how much I loved them. If I were to never come home, they’d know how much of my heart they had.
In the ensuing years, when disaster and tragedy struck—the earthquakes in Japan and Haiti, the tsunami in Thailand, the shootings in Aurora, Colorado and Newtown, Connecticut—I grieved. But I never got that overwhelming rush other parents talked about of urgently needing to hold their kids tighter, because I’d already cherished mine like there was no tomorrow.
The other day, I watched a live story on the local news—some guy had fired shots at the mall, and all hell had broken loose. On Facebook, a relative of Larry’s wife left an update with prayers for her and the kids, and reminders to others to hug and kiss their family a little extra.
MTV: EMA's 2013
Not a lot of people know about the MTV: EMA's. The EMA's were held in Amsterdam at the Ziggo Dome this year, and what is so different about the EMA's is that it gives people from other countries to be recognized for their music too. There were many performers this year, and a lot of them are the same from the regular MTV awards. The performers this year were: Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, Icona Pop, Katy Perry, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, The Killers, and Imagine Dragons. Eminem won two awards that night. One for best hip hop, and the other one is global icon award. One of the biggest scandal's from the EMA's was that Miley Cyrus lighted up a doobie on stage while she was talking. She also shaked her butt infront of an midget.

My favorite part of the night was Eminem's performance because he got the most biggest awards of the night, and his performance was just amazing. I was literally like OMG! I was so stunned by all of the songs he was singing, and it just kept getting better through out the time he was on the stage. The song I really liked was Berzerk.
