A Better Way Of Bribing

Parents are not the only ones starting to bribe their children into doing things, the president is to. Not every child out there is going to eat their fruits and veggies, some kids are just stubborn and some just straight up don't like them. The new thing out there was brought up by the one and only Michelle Obama. When walking through the grocery stores soon, shoppers will find themselves walking through a scene of the children's t.v.  show, Sesame Street. The goal of this new organization is to get children to recognize characters like Elmo, Big bird and other furry friends to persuade them into trying fruits and veggies instead of a sugary snack they are used to.
This is a good way to encourage little kids to get used to eating fruits and veggies, this can also help reduce the obesity level amongst children of a younger age and get them to eat healthier without being forced. Seeing their favorite characters on a package of carrots might ultimately help the children realize that veggies are not so bad after all, it will get them to see the better side of eating healthy.

  1. It's a great idea to have those character promote healthy eating for children since most parents don't encourage or introduce their kids to those foods. I see my niece only eating candy and refusing to eat any other food. Her parents try to give her real food, but it never works. She watches a lot of cartoons and idolizes the characters and wants to be more like them. She really wants to be a princess so having those Disney princess on the food will definitely get her to want it.

  2. I think that this would be very beneficial because children love and look up to their favorite cartoon characters. If they see elmo or another character that they love on a package of carrots or what have you, they may be more interested in trying them out and eating them because they are "elmo carrots". Who knows what would happen though because we all know that children love their sugary treats...but really, who doesn't?!
