With the two consoles $100 apart but the Xbox One already including the Kinect 2, the price is virtually the same. I personally have been a PlayStation fan because subscriptions weren't required to play online on the PlayStation 3. Now though, the PlayStation 4 does need a subscription to play most online games such as Call of Duty: Ghosts. The Xbox 360 did have issues with their system well known as the "Red Ring of Death" but lets hope this won't be an issue with the new system. In conclusion, both systems will have their strengths and weaknesses but what system will reign superior in the next couple of years?
I agree that the PlayStation 4 will become the more popular system among users, even though the PlayStation network is not free anymore. Another big factor is that it will be introduced a week earlier, as well as 100 dollars cheaper than the Xbox 1, which in my opinion will greatly effect the sales of either console.
