Blackjack is also known as twenty-one and is the most widely played casino banking in the world. Blackjack is comparing card between a player and a dealer, meaning that players compete against the dealer but not any other players. This game is played with one or more deck with 52 cards. The object of the game is to "beat the dealer." This can be done number of ways. Get 21 on your first two card, reach a final score higher than the dealer without going over 21, let the dealer draw additional cards bypassing 21 and busting. When playing people can hit, stand, double down, split, surrender or even ask for insurance when the dealer have an ace face up.
Haha, I like you brought up about Black Jack here just as we talked about gambling in our group project. Actually, I'll have to give a question that how many casinos still use only 52 cards for Black Jack now? No matter where I go, casinos use more than at very least 3 different decks (156 cards) and I usually see 6 decks in one pile. I know this is for avoid cheating by calculate percentage of winning which I really like, but would people want to play in one deck type or several decks type? I don't know.
ReplyDeleteWhen i go to the Casino i pretty much stick to what i know best and that is Blackjack. Statistically with about a 52% chance of winning, it is your best bet by far of winning money if you play it right. I find that it is the only gambling game at most casinos that is more skill then luck (though luck is part of it.) and even though i have lost a decent amount of money playing it, have overall won more. And to answer Tatsuki's question, i would much prefer to play with one deck, simply because it is much easier for me to 'count cards' and win almost every time. Of course knowing this i completely understand why they use more than one deck at casinos, i would almost feel bad if they played with one and i won a lot of money, almost.
