Jordan Trend Takeover
Michael Jordan has made a huge combat with putting out his retro Jordan tennis shoes. All over the country the tennis shoes are a major must have. People arrive at the shoe stores every Saturday, to stand in the long ridiculous lines just to be apart of the trend. Some even call into work just to get there pair. The concord was one of the most popular shoe to hit the shelves. There were many altercations at malls all over the country just to purchase a pair. Now to buy certain Jordan shoes people have to enter themselves in a raffle.
Several of the customers buy a few pair and resale for twice the amount of the original price, which run around $115.00. Many people will spend there last for the famous 23's to the point were there rent or other necessities will be put on hold. It seems that in this society appearance and trends are very important.

I agree that trends are very important!! I have cousins who live in Rhode Island who are crazy about Jordans! They stock up on Jordans and take tons of pictures to show them off. Its ridiculous how much they spend on these shoes, it's as if one isn't enough! They would pre-order Jordans just to make sure that they are getting a pair, it's ridiculous how Jordans are like a "must have"!
ReplyDeleteYou're right on that! I myself own Jordan's, it's just something you must have. Even though Jordan's are very popular, don't you think they're getting some serious competition with the new shoe lines of other famous basketball players such as Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, or Derrick Rose? I don't about you but the new LeBron's look more appealing than the new Jordan's.
