The greener you!

Why in today's culture are more and more people becoming green? No, I don't mean actual green, but we are trying to lower the amount of pollution we emit.

Many companies and industries are going "green" to help solve the growing concern of global warming and climate change that we face today. Companies like Microsoft, Apple, and Staples are using green energy helping to lower the carbon foot print.

How can you help?
Many ways you can help lower your own carbon is by using the three R's of recycling
Reduce - Lower the amount of power and waste left.
Reuse - Reuse something other then throwing it away. Help keep our land fills low!
Recycle - Recycle Plastic and aluminum instead of throwing them away.
We can also unplug electronics, eating organic food, and driving more fuel efficient vehicles to lower our own carbon footprint.

  1. I agree with going green. It's efficient and a good way to not waste products with such a finite source of materials. If we reuse and reduce, I think it really helps on showing the world that we aren't a wasteful society and that we need to protect our planet. I think why a lot of people don't recycle is that we are lazy and rather not deal with now but later. But its good to know that companies are starting to head into a direction of being green.

  2. I believe that the world in general today are becoming more and more aware of becoming green. The future of us is determined by us! I'm seeing more and more business promoting going green and supporting our environment. They are even contributing by participating in going green programs!

  4. I also agree. Going green is good for our planet overall, so why would I disagree? "Becoming green" has definitely caught on with people in our society and it's good to see. With the reduce, reuse, and renew concept, I feel it's the way to go instead of just blatantly wasting materials. But, I know talking about going green does not do anything, it's time to actually do something about it.
